Help Us Save Lives: Tenant Carbon Monoxide Survey

50 people a year die from Carbon Monoxide (CO) poisoning in the UK. A further 4,000 are treated in hospital. Frustratingly, it’s all completely preventable.

In England and Wales, landlords are under no legal obligation to supply CO alarms in most cases.

The number of Brits living in private rented housing is rising, and tenants are at risk from the deadly gas, as they do not understand the causes and dangers of Carbon Monoxide.

To help end this needless suffering, we’ve teamed up with CO Be Alarmed to run a survey to help raise awareness about CO poisoning. ┬áPlease help us save lives, and answer this short six-question survey! It only takes one minute!

We recommend that all our landlords supply their properties with CO alarms, and inform their tenants how to maintain them and their fuel-burning appliances.
